Croquet Art Competition Winners
In May we visited Deganwy primary school, giving over 150 number 9-10 year old pupils an hour's taste of croquet - this took place over two days in May
Following this successful day the school ran a art competition with the theme of Alice in Wonderland and Croquet -
Below the final 12 entries that made the short list out of 150
(an unenviable task as every entry was great)
along with the Winners

The Winners
Years 3/4
Lili Walker (Elen). Winner for Best use of colour and drawings of croquet and Alice characters.
Thomas Claridge. Winner for best design of new croquet equipment especially the mallet with laced shoe head plus mallets of banana and hoover! Best memory of how croquet is played and ends
by pegging out! ( hitting the balls against the centre post) Best illustration of moving balls and mallets.

Penny. Winner for best use of colour and croquet and Alice characters. Particularly liked the Cheshire Cat hoop design!
Freddie Hall. winner for best memory of the croquet game including pegging out against the centre post.
