Peter, one of our U3A Players,

found that none of our stock mallets

were quite the right fit for his stature.

Never one to be defeated by a small problem,

he arrived at the next session proudly carrying his own

homemade "garage-built" version.

"It's still a work in progress," Peter assures us,

as he continues to fine-tune the weight and balance.

He's convinced that once he gets it just right,

his game will improve dramatically

—and who are we to argue with such engineering expertise?

We wish him every success and look forward to seeing his

custom-built mallet in championship action!
