Despite the overcast weather, the matches were closely contested especially, throughout the morning, with many games reaching a golden hoop.
The CYD Player of the Day award goes to Lynn, who impressively
won 4 out of her 5 matches.

This is the first time we have played Bury in the NW Fed Southern League - It was a very enjoyable day, great fun, great company - All very tight matches and we look forward to the return match next year.

The day stayed mostly dry, if a little overcast, but it was a pleasure to welcome the Southport Falcons to CYD for the first time in this NW Federation GC Handicap League.​

Winning 3 out of of her 4 single's games today Lynn is our hero of the day, but everyone played well.
The day started with the doubles - Alan and Linda won their doubles match, and it was oh so close for Lynn and Beth - They all did our club proud.

Under threatening sky's is was a surprisingly sunny day with only one small downpour.
Today's play was was tightly contested, with several golden hoop matches - With play equal at lunchtime, it was all to play for in the afternoon, but Fylde proved to be too strong and eventually won 10 games to 8
Lynn was our player of the day today winning 3 of her 4 single games and her doubles match with Beth
A heartfelt thank you to Barbara and Christina who served refreshments throughout the day and to all those of you that came to support us on this our final NW Federation match for this year
